I got a message along the lines of "Dear valued customer, after clicking OK, ESET Smart Security will be uninstalled and upgraded to version [some number], during this time, some messages will pop up saying your security is down, we urge you to ignore these" something like that, and I don't trust it.. What should I do?

I disconnected my internet after I got the message, and it just continued uninstalling and reinstalling eset, but I'm not sure if I'm safe or not...

You're using an older version 3 and the latest program component update (PCU) to v. 3.0.695 has been downloaded and is now ready to install. For the program to upgrade to the latest version, allow to install the PCU.
