Same problem that I've encountered before. The scroll scan log option does not work.

Hello,
Does it not work throughout the entire scan? Than option merely scrolls it. The log should show whether or not it's selected. Running a scan just a minute ago myself the log didn't show immediately but did about a minute into the scan. BFG |

Hi,
The log shows up, but doesn't scroll. I can't get that option to be persistent. It's a fresh install as well. |

My ThreatSense > Other > Paramater setup appears as such.
I note from this comment from your prior thread that log scrolling was not seleted during the scan, you should attempt this as this is likely your problem. Run and on-demand scan and try to engage log scrolling, that way, it should permanently stick in the options menu that I indicated above.

Thanks norky I will leave this thread in the capable hands of Ron and the ESET Folks since I am unable to determine what your real issue is.
Best of luck.

Although not a serious issue I confirm the same behavior on Windows 7 64bit.
Scroll scan log in profile settings of the on-demand scans are not saved or read correctly when opening the scan in a new windows or start a scan from the context menu. |

Thanks for the feedback, Brambb
Perhaps navigating this way would enable log scrolling. Tools > Log Files > On-demand computer can> highlight on last on-demand log > right-click on log to be viewed > scroll log.

Just wondering if ESET knows about this, is working to fix this, or just going to leave it as is.
Thanks, Matt |

By virtue of having posted your issue here, ESET is aware of this. I regret that I am out of ideas as to how to address your problem. You may generate and issue ticket, if you wish, by contacting ESET
