Default PrevX installation over Threatfire.

An error occured while installing PrevX over Threatfire.

I have configured threatfire to prompt me when a process attempts to create outbound connection thus delaying PrevX installation before I provide an answer to threatfire's prompt... of course I allowed PrevX to connect but the installation crashed afterwards.

I, then reinstalled PrevX (using the same installer) but then this time I have suspended threatfire protection and it worked.
Maybe PrevX doesnt want its installation to be delayed XD

Kees' Threatfire custom rules. http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=183020

This is true - Prevx has some time-dependent elements of the installation to try and detect if malware is blocking the installation. It is definitely best to disable Threatfire or another HIPS product to get Prevx to install properly
