Default Removing archive from archive database

I noticed that under DB10 not only can I "add' archives to the archive database, but I can also "remove" archives. There is also an option ("tickee box") which will also delete the archive dataset.

Questions.

(1) When removing the archive from the archive database I can delete the archive dataset itself. But it leaves behind the directory structure which DB had built, such that I have to remove these directories (i.e. folders) manually. Is there a way for the directory/folder structure DB created to be removed as well?

(2) When removing the archive from the archive database, I notice that in the folder view pane, the datasets themselves are not removed. There doesn't seem to be a way to "refresh" that view. I had to actually shut down DB, then restart it for the folder pane to reflect the fact that the datasets were deleted. There is a "refresh" button, but it doesn't seem to refresh the folder view pane. Is there a way?

Default Re: Removing archive from archive database

Unfortunately, the only way to completely remove the archives is to delete the directory manually. F5 is the only refresh method.
