Ad-Aware 8.2 Released

Ad-Aware 8.2 has been released, new in this version is Rootkit removal and a Email Scanner in the free edition.

i wonder how effective it is againts rootkits?

 

Ad-Aware seems to be improving recently. I wonder if we will starting seeing Ad-Aware on every machine again like it was a few years ago.

ı think Avira engine removed, Sunbelt engine added...

 

If this is the Sunbelt engine I am surprised. Is that free or pro?

i dont know about engine 2/Genotype
i scan about 10.000 files but engine 2 didnt dedect anything

 

Engine 2/Genotype in Lavasoft's Def + Heuristic engine I think.
