My Hard Drive keeps growing for no reason, why?

My hard drive last week said 27GB is being used. But every few days I check and it keeps growing when I am not installing anything new.

I run Vista and there's not been any new updates at all.

It was 36GB a few days ago and now it says 68GB is being used.

I cannot locate anywhere new files or why this is happening.

Anyone know?

I have run MAM, a-squared, Avira, Kaspersky, and they report nothing.

Very strange though, it's showing folders in Program Files, but when I view Program Files using Vista Explorer, they don't show at all.

PS - Can't see your programs folder then I'd take'r through a reboot.

 

There is a folder showing when I run WinDirStat of an application I removed months ago. And it never shows up in normal explorer view in Vista.

So why does it show in WinDirStat?

BTW, I removed it using WinDirStat.

 

As far as why she shows in WinDir I have no idea. Have you located the responsible process?
