Default Shadow Protect question.

Is there a way to move a program from within one image to an earlier image?
Example:
I have a license for a 'A' program which is installed on an image from 1/10/10.
I want to put that in the original image from 11/09.
How can I do it?
I tried to copy and paste but got a pop up stating that the file was locked.
I also tried it with GFI Backup but it doesn't see the images stored on D partition.
Thanks.

If it's installed, then no. But what you can do is restore the image from 11/09, install the program, reimage, and then restore the 1/10 image. That's the only way I know.

If you just want to copy/paste the program file over, then you should be able to use SP to mount the images, then copy/paste from one mounted image to another, otherwise you can't possibly "install" a program into another image, unless you follow Pete's instructions.

OK.
Thanks for the help.
I'll see how it goes.
