Default SS4 not loading completely

Like many I had problems the other day with the update. I followed the instructions here http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN98
and cleared the cash. When I reboot my system SS4 does start to load but I'm not seeing the icon in the system tray. Which makes me believe the sw is not loading completely. I can pull the program up via the start menu and it does show that I'm up to date on virus protection but no matter how many times I reboot the icon does not load to the system tray. Any suggestions on what to do?
