Question Running Redhat-type RPM on OpenSUSE

Hello everyone,

Could you tell me if there's any problem with running Redhat-type RPM files on OpenSUSE and vice versa?

Secondly, is there any utility or application to convert Debian/Ubuntu files to run on Redhat/OpenSUSE systems? I know Debian and Ubuntu have "alien" to convert RPM files to run on their systems.

Thanks in advance.
