I have my laptop drive encrypted so it would be unwise to leave backups open for everybody. I want backups to be secured on the same level. There's optional password in the Paragon Backup & Recovery 10.1 Free Edition for backups but what does it mean? Is it just a formality like windows account password which can be hacked within minutes? Or it is provided with encryption? If yes -what encryption algorithm is used? And is there a hash algo for hashing passwords? Thanks.
