Default Online Armor ip filtering

Hi Guys!

I downloaded and installed AO++ from giveawayoftheday.
Does anyone know if OA++ has ipfiltering capabilities (similar to peerguardian)?

Thank in advance for the replies!

hi.....there is an IP Blocklist for Online Armor.....see here........http://www.calendarofupdates.com/upd...ds&showfile=32

Quote:
NOTE: The blocklist requires updating to add new malicious or rogue IP addresses. Some domains are using NEW and/or additional IP Addresses, you are NOT protected from the new IP addresses of existing domains if you only add the new bad domains/IP. Remember, we are blocking IP Addresses and not the domains.

Yes, OA supports this blocklist format.

If you use e.g. level1 list for p2p, it's most likely best to assign this list only for your p2p apps in OAs Advanced mode.

Cheers

When I tried to load bluetack nipfilter list, I obtained the "cannot import wrong data" warning.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

Maybe this can help you: Blocklist Manager (from Bluetack)

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Securit...-Manager.shtml

Permit import lists from sites like

http://www.iblocklist.com/lists.php (if the link direct to a zip file)

and export in various formats.

take care

I tried to convert bluetack lists with BLM, but I didn't find a single list compatible with OA 4.0. OA 4.0 and OA 3.5 use a different list type. Is there any software capable to convert the list in a format compatible with OA 4.0?

1) Are you converting them to protwall/peergaurdian.safepeer file, I know it works because Ive been using those lists for 12 months with OA Premium or OA++ I dont think you can use the block lists in the free version
2) And also Bluetack where the lists come from will be down for about 2 weeks as they are moving there Server.
