the program seems nice its like a extra firewall with more control.

I dont get the turkey references why is it untrustworthy to trust security software from turkey?

kj its a firewall pretty much with greater control and versatility. I guess people dont trust it becuase they dont really know the makers or what not but this program doesnt seem untrustworthy it looks very professional

What would help Zemana AL a lot is if a rep regularly showed up on Wilders to answer questions and support it. Look at how much it helps Prevx, Panda, etc. having the reps and developers here.

That and if people can stop being ignorant. It took a while for the "common people" to start using Kaspersky. If you all remember the only programs that were available in stores (Best buy, Fry's) were Norton, mcafee and trendmicro. It has only been in the last couple of years that people heard of or even thought to use kaspersky. I'm sure alot of people had some reservations on using a "russian" program. Zemana has been around long enough to know that it is a trusted program.

Zemana is a partner with Sunbelt, it is thought that Sunbelt are providing the firewall element in the upcoming Antilogger v2 and there has also been other cooperation between the two companies. If Zemana were not trustworthy I very much doubt Sunbelt would partner with them.

well if you meant compatibility.....yes....check here....http://www.zemana.com/AntiloggerCompatibility.aspx#tab but if you mean necessary well that'd depend on your overall security setup

I would recommend running these tests to see whether or not you need Zemana. My HIPS of choice fails 4 of the 5. :(

exaclty as several people have said, its a company that has been around for quite a while and dicussed here many times and many people have vouched for them, so i dont see the problem with trust or reputation u mention.

what i do see tho in ur first post is u outlining ur problem being that theyre from Turkey, that is exactly what u said in ur first post...

I'd leave it as default. Found it works well straight out of the box.

Online Armor Premium has a key logger detection module, but how effective is it? If it detects most key logger techniques than Zemana isn't needed.

That doesn't sound good. I thought most any HIPS would at least pick up the keylogger test.

@Sportscubs1272: Zemana makes it easy to tell if you need the protection their software provides by running their tests.

Online Armor didn't respond from their tests, but we can have a big debate on why or why not it didn't pass. Do they have Sunbelt technology now or is that another future product down the road? I know they had a press release that they were partners with them, but it was a long time ago. :p

    Is the License Key generic?

It seems I was too late to register my copy :'(
I went to the License Key page, and the license key portion is empty :(

Would anyone be so kind to send me a license key?
I would like to test this software on my VM. Many thanks :D

Use Google cached look-up. Looks like the license doesn't work on a new install now.

    Can't update Zemana..
It seems the software can't read internet connection from USB Modems.

An error message like this occurs:

    Resolving hostname www.zemana.com.
    Connecting to 72.167.252.138.
    Connected.
    Waiting for server response...
    Disconnecting.
    Disconnected.

    ERROR : HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

im so confused why the country matters... are u implying since u dont know any security companies from Turkey that the country inherently doesnt have any competent developers? ur reasoning is so irrational it amazes me, because u dont know anybody from the country, u assume its not trustworthy. I just cant seem to grasp how the country a company is located in has any relation to how trustworthy a company is. the company isnt owned by the government and run by a pair of monkeys just cuz u dont know any other companies from there. your thinking REALLY makes no sense...

Just a minor point, is that I think it's a pity that this application doesn't maximize, which makes reading of Rules/Logs in Management Console a bit tedious due to scrolling needed.
Perhaps they'll change this in future builds.
Also, I totally agree with the suggestion that a Zemana reps input here would be welcome, and might contribute towards building a good and more widely recognised reputation.
    Thanks.
