Default Hijacked Homepage...please help!

Hi all,

REALLY hoping someone can help me out.

My homepage has been hijacked by "C:/WINDOWS/secure.html". The screen has a blu background with white text. It is preventing me from changing my homepage back to what it was, and is doing other highly disruptive things to my PC's operation.

I have run Adaware and S&D. I downloaded HighJackThis....here is my log....

Default Re:Hijacked Homepage...please help!

Hi Abes5000,

Welcome to Wilders.

Before you start, please unzip or move HijackThis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder it's in. These easily get lost in a temporary folder or a folder with other programs.

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.find-online.net/sp.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.find-online.net/sp.html
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\secure.html

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Reg32] C:\WINDOWS\reg32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Dial32] C:\WINDOWS\dl.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WebScan] C:\PROGRA~1\ACCELE~1\ANTI-V~1\DEFSCA~1.EXE -k
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [eanth_critical_update_alert] C:\PROGRA~1\ACCELE~1\SYSTEM~1\sys_alert.exe /Startup
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [EanthologyApp] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\EACCEL~1\EANTHO~1.EXE /b Startup

O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/27d13de5038955875606/netzip/RdxIE601.cab

Download CWShredder and run. Be sure ALL other windows are closed and use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

There also may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Then reboot in Safe Mode and delete the following:

C:\WINDOWS\secure.html
C:\WINDOWS\reg32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\dl.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\ACCELE~1\ <-- entire folder
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\EACCEL~1\ <-- entire folder

Reboot and then post a fresh HijackThis log.

Regards,
Kent

OK to delete the files

open windows explorer buy going to start/run and type explorer in the box and press ok

when explorer comes up
Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and untick "hide extensions for known file types" . Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"

then navigate by keep on pressing onthe folder name and the little + beside the folder name and work down to the lists of files/folders puff said, when you get to the file/right click it and select delete

now also run hijackthis again and fix these entries
