Hello,
I would like to start off by praising LnS. LnS is an incredible firewall. I have LnS 2.06 on XP SP3. The software/VOIP service "Magic Jack" is giving me problems. I normally have no problems creating rules by watching the LnS log and tweaking a rule. Magic Jack is special. It keeps trying to access ports (ranging from 5000's to 60000's). With LnS off, Magic Jack works fine (so it definitely is the firewall). If I need to submit a log, I can. I was hoping one of you smart, handsome pros would have experience with Magic Jack. I would really appreciate help on creating a rule for this problem child. Thanks for your time. Happy New Year! -James P.S. I wish Magic Jack were written as well as LnS. Magic Jack is at @49MB in memory, compared to LnS at @2MB. |

Hello,
I am having the same problem and agree with OldIronTits about LNS and Majic Jack. I had to switch to another firewall in order to get Magic Jack to work. Thanks! |
