Default Should I be downloading "pre release updates"?

I am running ESET Smart Security 4 on my 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate, notebook computer.

Currently, I have the "enable pre-release updates" box checked. Should I be downloading pre release-updates? Thank you.

as in the name, they are pre-releases bringing in new functionality or fixes so there is a chance that it might not agree any given system

Yes, but his question was not for any given system it was specifically for a system running Windows 7.

According to the KnowledgeBase on ESET's webpage pre-releases updates should be enabled on ESET Smart Security 4 to ensure maximum compatibility with Windows 7.
