Why your system tray icon is red, Make sure your user name and password are entered correctly, If none of this works, contact ESET.

This is a local reseller in the Montreal area. They should be able to support you in Français.

Bonne chance.

I would try clearing the update cache. Click on Setup, Entire Advaned Setup tree, click on update, and then go to click clear.

Clearing the update cache is asked in the solutions posted in my reply.

Hello alex,

I would also check your system time. If the date is wrong, it can cause strange things to happen. If you reset the CMOS by taking the battery out, the time and date would have been reset too.

I've seen the same update stuck at 99% problem and my solution is an uninstall followed by a fresh reinstall to resolves this problem.

In this case I would personally do a manual reinstallation.
Note that this is a personal preference based on reinstall attempts following typical reinstallations
