Default Why is this happening in Firefox?

Sometimes I get these weird boxes appearing when I click the sides of the screen. Also I can't really scroll down normal with the down button. It has to have the blinking thing that is there when you type go and scroll down and sometimes when I press the down key it takes me to the very bottom of the page. Here is a pic I took. I have the 64 bit version of Ubuntu installed. It does not happen in Opera or Chrome.
