Any thoughts as to which one is better? Advantages or disadvantages?

OCT imho proxo is much stronger...lighter resource useage........yet does have a rather steep learning curve...which is well worth the effort...plus you can find help at Zhen's website...plus find a block list there also... webwasher does its job...has a built in filter list...(would not depend entirely on that) has an option to add to the list...(does have its limits) an can be very easily config... using BOTH chained together has nice results....(would not suggest trying that unless you have the experince) if you are willing to give the effort proxo requires...that may be the way to go. good luck...oh..you can visit Zhens site...I don't know the url offhand....perhaps someone else will post it.....an you can ask actual users of proxy their opinions. snowman |

I believe there are two - www.laudanski.com and Scott's official Proxo forum at Zhen-Xjell's www.computercops.biz.

Thank you Snowman, FanJ and Checkout. I've downloaded Proxomitron, very rich in features, but you're right: it has a steep learning curve. I suppose chances are that anything with a lot of features will have a steep learning curve. I will visit the websites mentioned. Thank you very much for the advice.

Hi
The Proxo does have bit of a learning curve attached but it's well worth it. I find it effective-- I'm only comfortable with the more basic aspects but the links above are most helpful. I don't use Webwasher so I can't comment. ![]() Regards Gordon |
