Couldn't we simply have a bit of a moratorium on these types of postings?

If it's clearly an offering to the public at large, then fine, everyone could use a bit of a heads up.

However, with all the free option available to everyone, decent trial periods for every product under the sun and so on, if the offer is clearly localized (by readership, geography, whatever), let's try to respect the limitations of those offers.
