Default Backup failed

Tried to backup my C dive using Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.5 to a new Seagate external drive, get an error message "Internal error during hot backup", and 0x1200e. The web site says hard dive fault and check with manufacturers tool, I used the Seagate Sea tools "long drive self test" which it passed. I can copy and paste files to it OK. Is there anything else I can try?.
Thanks in advance.

Run a full check disk with repair parameters. Also try switching a different hot progressing.

Start > Run > cmd > "chkdsk /r c:"

Tools > Settings > Microsoft Shadow Copy <=> Paragon Hot Processing.

I also want to suggest running the Backup from the recovery CD.

To create a bootable CD, Tools > Recovery Medial Builder.
