Default B&R Free 10 Closes Itself

I have B&R 10 Free Edition and I am trying to transfer one folder from my hard drive to the DVD Burner. B&R will go to the transfer progress window and when it actually starts to burn the DVD it suddenly shuts itself down and closes the program window and the burner R/W light continues to flash on the burner and it will not respond to the disk eject button.

I have removed and re-installed B&R 10 Free as well as set VSS to start automatically.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Rowland,

Are you using the File Transfer Wizard?

What kind of folder is it - an arc backup folder, or just a regular folder containing pics/docs/etc.

Did you burn the recovery disc ok from within B&R 10?

Yes, I am using the File Transfer Wizard. The folder is a regular sub-folder of My Documents and contains all .doc and .pdf files. I'm burning the DVD from within B&R 10.

Are you doing it from within windows?

Can you burn the same folder to dvd using Windows , i.e not using BR10?
