I recently bought a NAS caddy for my 500GB HDD which doesnt amazing things but it has to be FAT32 in order to share things in my small home network.....
So I converted using Paragon Partition Manager NTFS to FAT32, I though things were ok until I remembered to backup my Photos.... and I couldnt access them... instead the Photos folder has loads of oversized files with random characters as file names.... So anyone know how to get it all back ![]() ![]() Since then I had connection issues and formated the HDD back to NTFS and managed to get most of my media off the HDD.... but not one single picture!!!!!!!!!! Can any one help?? Cheers Hugo |

How big are these oversized files? FAT32 has a 4GB file limit which is probably why the NTFS to FAT32 failed for those big files.
