I have installed the anti-virus from the beta program link below, however it requires a username and password to be able to install updates and open the program.
http://beta.eset.com/ the website says you don't have to register to use it however. Can someone assist? thanks. |

Hello,
Do you have an ESET NOD32 Antivirus license? If so, try entering the credentials (username and password) from it. Regards, Aryeh Goretsky

I have a Smart Security licence, yes. However this is a public beta and not something only open to those who have an existing account with ESET (or at least, the website doesn't say you need a current Smart Security or NOD32 licence).
I'll try contacting ESET directly instead. |

I telephoned ESET support, who advised me to e-mail the beta team directly, which I have done. I have received no reply however.
Can someone here chase this up? |

Hello,
I was not aware a username and password needed to be manually entered, so perhaps it is an issue specific to your mobile device? Which device and carrier are testing with? Regards, Aryeh Goretsky

Its a Nokia N97 using Vodafone UK. Can't see it being related to the carrier, though. |

Is there anyone at ESET reading this?
I have contacted ESET via telephone, via e-mail and on this forum. So far, nobody has been able to help. Is ESET support really this bad? |
