Default New to Eset, have questions

I just installed a trial version (anti virus) and had a few questions before buying my license.

1. Is upgrading to new versions free? (say I start with version 4 and 5 comes out in 4 months can I upgrade with no charge?)

2. Is there a automatic schedule scan feature? (I don't see one set up)

Thanks for your help.

As long as your subscription is valid you can upgrade to the next version for free. There is a schedule that can be used to setup your own scheduled scan. There are some schedules enabled by default, but they can be changed, disabled, deleted or you can create your own.

I'd merely add that you can access Scheduler by activating Advanced mode and navigating to Tools -> Scheduler.
