It's a registry key
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showp...&postcount=133 It should be present at least in all Vista and Win7 x64 as false positives if you 've changed display settings. Not sure if in x32 too. For example try changing the refresh rate of your monitor and font size and see if it gets picked up. Does your antimalware application detect that except for MBAM and Iobit? I am curious. If yes, be so kind to mention your product's name and/or screenshot. (All you have to do is change display settings and scan C: . Last edited by Fuzzfas : November 7th, 2009 at 08:43 AM. |

Yes, MBAM shows it in both Vista and Windows 7 64-bit here.

Wilders members, if this thread can not remain focused on the specific topic for which it was opened, there is no doubt that it will be closed. Let's keep on topic!

im on Win7 32bit and dont get this FP, so it seems to be an x64 issue.

I got this detected as well. Its been in quarantine for a few days. Is this a FP or just something detected from the stuff pre installed on PCs by corporations?

If it's a false positive, why don't THEY whitelist it?

For my experience, did a fresh install of 7 x64 and without internet connection and without software installed just mbam, The hijack.display.properties is detected.
Why they don't whitelist i don't know. For me a other False positive onf MBAM is the broken.open.command. Rules |
