Even if there was anything like it, considering the version number change, it's most probably just a security fix or some other minor but critical fix.

Now this is really strange, as there is no v4.8.1358 AFAIK.
I see that FileHippo and Majorgeeks (among others) list it, but when you download it, it is 1356.

I wonder why they thought there was a new version? (and how did they come up with the version number...)

that was my surprise. It was obvious something was wrong. Avast would not have put a build out without a notice or changelog.
