About F5 in TDS-3, and the old dcsresearch site.

Hi,

Here is a little bit about F5 in TDS-3 and about dcsresearch.

In the past the site dcsresearch was owned by DiamondCS.
But that has been changed : that site no longer belongs to DiamondCS.

In TDS-3 is at the moment hard coded the original link to dcsresearch.
It was meant to lead you by pressing F5 in TDS-3 to the DiamondCS private forum.

But now that dcsresearch is no longer owned by DiamondCS, pressing F5 in TDS-3 leads you to the wrong place.

For that reason there is this little trick:
Put the following line in your HOSTS file (if that line isn't already there):

64.91.255.87 www.dcsresearch.com

By having that line in your HOSTS file, the Keyboard-Shortcut F5 in TDS-3 still leads you to the right place.

I would advise to add your HOSTS file in your file crcfiles.txt
By doing that, the CRC32-test in TDS-3 will warn you in case your HOSTS file has been changed.

In the previous posting I said that for TDS-3 users this line should be in your HOSTS file:

64.91.255.87 www.dcsresearch.com


If you have another line in your HOSTS file containing : www.dcsresearch.com
then I would advice you to delete that other line(s).

So once again:
The only line in your HOSTS file containing www.dcsresearch.com
should be:
64.91.255.87 www.dcsresearch.com
