Default Gdata NotebookSecurity 2010 ?

Anyone using this? Sounds like it is supposed to be lighter than their regular internet security. Wondering if anyone can comment on this...

Default Re: Gdata NotebookSecurity 2010 ?

I'm using G Data TotalCare 2010 (which is almost the same, NotebookSecurity also contains encryption on top) and it is certainly much lighter than their previous version. The tests from Virus Bulletin and AV-Comparatives seem to confirm this.

The nicest thing is that the detection rate is not affected - check the graphic on the VB homepage with the average detection rates in their tests from April to October 2009: G Data is still leading in both reactive and proactive detection.
