    Hi all,

Time to go wild with imagination once again:

We have a review of SUSE Studio, a powerful Novell-sponsored service based on the Kiwi imaging system that allows everyone on any operating system to build SUSE-based appliances inside their browsers. You can even build your own Linux distro on Windows, if you like.

I have been using the KDE Four Live CD, and I was wondering how to create my own Live CD, and here is a great way to do that.
Hopefully I get my key soon, and then I might create my own CD.
If it collects rpm's from the updated repositories, then this service creates an up to date installation CD, right?

Got my key, assembled a KDE-3.5 image.
I wasn't able to run an online testdrive, so I downloaded the ISO and did a local test. Quite impressive, just a few details that I had to iron out (and take notes to report back).
Actually, it's really great, I got my system installed from that live CD and it contains all the security updates and other fixes.
I also installed the NVidia driver and subpixel enabled freetype2. Looks like anything that can't be included by Novell/SuSE for legal reasons can be included on the custom live CD.

Very very nice and a lot of fun!
