HTML/Iframe.B.Gen Virus (( HELP )) !?!?!?

    Hi All,
    I felt frustrated when I got this Alert

    HTML/Iframe.B.Gen virus
    :eek: o_O
    ((i attached a photo))

    I have many Url's & Htm saved web pages in my PC
    Suddenly ESET is detecting this alert in them
    HTML/Iframe.B.Gen Virus

    and the only solution in his mind is to DELETE them ..
    isn't any other solution to disinfect this virus ... thats it really exists..

    ESET is blocking opening the file.. the only way to open it is to disable the antivirus ..


    HELP PLEASE !!!! o_O o_O o_O o_O

    I dont know what is it?

    ESET is not able to clean or disinfect
    its only solution is to delete

    i need to solve this problem .. and keep my url's and saved websites

    as for the websites you gave me

    oh ...



    the first one: THE FILE IS NOT QUARANTINED - if you noticed the photo above.. ESET solution is to delete not clean !!!

    the second one: HTML/Iframe.B.Gen Virus is present in all htmls , htm, url
    how can i compress it and send it to them ..

    thanks anyway


    any other solution guys?!?

    Hi Xfadio. I'll advise you to make a full system log with ESET SysInspector and send it to ESET Support team. Because some sort of malware can 'patch' any html files in your PC and inject into this files redirection links to other infected or backdoor web-sites.
    How to make a SysInspector Log described in this KB article.

    See this KB article for instructions how to submit a file to ESET's lab for perusal.

    Many different hacked sites are detected as HTML/Iframe.B.Gen virus. In the cases I have seen, a hidden IFRAME element referring to various Russian domains was appended to the html code. Solution was to locate the code inserted by hackers and to remove it.
