    Hi guys,

On 5th Sep, 2009 Avira AntiVir Premium will be available at a 49% discount on bitsdujour. Looking at the pricing it seems to be a two year single PC license.

    From bitsdujour

    Code:
Deal Price: $19.95 You Save: 49% List Price: $38.45

    Cheers!

The 2 year Avira Premium is $38.45 on there site + $6.50 Contribution to the Auerbach Foundation. So for $19.95 I would think it would be a 2 Year.

Looks like the deal is only for one year instead of two years. Did they misquote the price or was it misleading?

This is from the comment box on Bitsdujur.

Still, this discounted price would be cheaper than the best avira offers that I currently know of

    One day to go...

I have another month to go on one license and two months on my laptop. It would have been a great deal if it was good for two years. I don't understand why they listed that high price if it was for only one year!

So this seems to be one of these increase the price and then announce a discount on the increased price to make you think you're getting a good deal.

The deal is canceled for tomorrow, but you can sign up for the mailing list if they change the deal.

Very odd to list the 'offer' and have the countdown running. I see two different offers running above it now. The official Antivir website doesn't list it as a one or two year deal. I won't be clicking on anything at the moment. I'm hoping Gizmo will up the ante and give out free copies.

Yea but in that case my only concern would be actually the 'trustability' of the upclick payment services..... I'm waiting for the avboy's response :D

$19.95 is definitely not 49% off, but I hope they come up with a better deal before the month is out.
