every link and or file has a ".lnk" after it

    Ok guys need some advice here... turned on my pc and every link and or file has a ".lnk" after it i cant open any files or any programs this is a work pc and has important info any advice? i think it is some kind of adware but i cant access anything to check...

    and i also have found a program named ResHack that came outta nowhere did some research and its a Resource Hacker..

    the quickest solution use Windows CD to Repair System Files !
    unlike Formatting , this won't delete your files and software :D

    cannot find any ways to repair i can open mozilla and my anti virus after doing some digging but, its something in my registry pc freezes when scanning
