Trying to compile snapapi modules on an Ubuntu server:
dkms build -m snapapi26 -v 0.7.29 --config /boot/config-2.6.24-23-generic --arch x86_64 --kernelsourcedir /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.24 Preparing kernel 2.6.24-23-generic for module build: (This is not compiling a kernel, just preparing kernel symbols) Storing current .config to be restored when complete Running Generic preparation routine make mrproper..... using /boot/config-2.6.24-23-generic make oldconfig..... make prepare......
