Looks like I am getting to a semi-related issue now.

- HP Laptop
- Running Windows 7 x64 from HP upgrade
- 1 profile - set as admin with access all across the board
- Never uninstalled ESET SS and firewall, antivirus seems to work

The only issue I have is when I attempt to open a DVD by double-clicking on the drive in Windows Explorer. The DVD plays fine when inserted via auto-play, just not if I manually try to access the drive.

The error I receive indicates that I do not have the correct permission level to access the drive.

This issue does not appear occur when opening data discs (tested with CDs) or music CDs.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Which version of ESET Smart Security are you running on your Hewlett-Packard notebook computer that was upgraded to Microsoft Windows 7 from a previous version of Windows?

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky
