I have read Acronis True home would back up my new cpu with raid 0.
I am returning a new dell and getting the same model with raid 0 15k drives. Will Acronis prompt for 1 or both drives? My version is 2 weeks old. Please help, I am hoping to back up from the machine being returned and then just restore? TIA |

If TI sees the RAID setup correctly, it will be seen as one drive.
Note that if you backup a Windows setup that is not configured for RAID and then restore it onto a RAID setup, it may not boot properly. In most cases the RAID drivers need to be already installed in the imaged system or inserted into the restored system (like UR does).

UR = Universal Restore
It's an add-on to the corporate versions of TI Workstation and higher.

Hello jeryray,
Thank you for using Acronis True Image It looks like you don't need AUR in your case. You will restore the image to the same hardware (the same CPU, the same motherboard model and hard disk controllers). You don't need to replace the crucial HAL and hard disk controller drivers, that's why Acronis True Image Home 2009 will be able to restore the image and the operating system should be bootable.. Thank you. -- Oleg Lee
