Windows live messenger 20009 issue

Hey all
I'm getting problems with Windows live messenger 2009. It's impossible to share files and open or receive camera. I guess it due to eset smarty security.

I'm not sure if this is correct, but in order to share files in Windows Live Messenger 2009, don't you need to have selected an antivirus scanner on your computer in one of the setup options somewhere? Is is possible to do this with EAV/ESS? When browsing to the ESET folder, would you select ekrn.exe since that's the scanning engine process?
