time problem with Dual booting Vista/PcLinuxOS

Thanks for any help.
I set the time in Vista. Switch to PcLinuxOS and set the time.
Now switch back to Vista and the time is incorrect. Correct it and switch back to PclinuxOS and the time is incorrect.
I have the time zones set to EST USA.
I am not trying to use the internet to set the time as it causes even more problems.
I've spent hours on this and am still baffled.

PCLinuxOS is using UTC and Vista is not. You need to tell PCLOS to NOT use UTC. I can tell you how to do it in Ubuntu, but not in PCLOS, sorry. Perhaps someone else can explain it for PCLOS.

The problem is solved.
Lost a lot of time over this.

You can thank M$ for your problem. Windows does not keep time by the accepted standard (UTC). Every other computer OS in existence does it right. M$ has chosen to do it the stupid way.
