Hello kami,

It sounds as though the issue is related to something other than our program and we can only support ESET software.

Have you checked with Microsoft?

Do you run a Zemana product? They have been known to cause issues.

Zemana works fine. There is no known problems with windows updates. If you check your system with MBSA you get more detailed information about the problem.

Try updating one update at a time. That is what I had to do this week!

It may be corrupted update downloads in folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads

Try the following in cmd line, with administrative rights:

net stop wuauserv (press enter)
cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution (press enter)
ren Download Download.old (press enter) - This will safeguard the already downloaded updates, just in case.
net start wuauserv (press enter)

Then redownload and try to reinstall the updates and see if it is successful. It has happened to me in the past, and that's what I did.

If that doesn't work, try this:

net stop wuauserv
cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
ren SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
net start wuauserv

(This step will rename the full path instead)

No, it doesn't Up until recently it wouldn't even allow certain patches to be installed, and the support for the product is non-existant. Horrible pile of crap in my opinion, glad I ditched it.

I also had difficulty with the Microsoft updates. (Microsoft updates=Windows updates plus more).

I just could not download one.

In the end, I did some digging, and was able to locate the update, and could download and install it separately.
