GAOD had Safe 'n 'Sec a couple of years and it bogged my system down. I'm already satisfied with Online Armor and Antivir antivirus. Maybe someone can test and report back on here.

Txs for posting, but IMO it is a poorly offer.

The offer don't include:

- infected files recovering
- known viruses deletion
- automatic antivirus updates

Other Safe`n`Sec 2009 products do.

So it doesn't update or remove viruses, even though it's a pay-for-use version Glad I skipped it...but I thought the webby was good for removal?

Addendum-don't matter now, GAOTD just pulled it?!?!

Now they're offering a different version of Safe'nSec...

"Safe`n`Sec 2009 + Antivirus Dr.WEB product includes all functions of Safe`n`Sec 2009 Personal and in addition it is integrated with Dr.Web antivirus scanner. Dr.Web antivirus scanner recovers infected files and deletes known viruses."

OK, so what's the scoop on this version?

I tried it at it seems that there is no on access scanner. Downloaded eicar and double clicking it doesn't trigger anything. Manually scanning it does trigger a response.
