Default Trying to restore - ATI cannot see the Raid but DD can

Hi,

I am trying to restore my computer after a crash. I am using ATI 2009. I have Vista Home Premium with a Raid 0 array. the problem I have is that ATI does not see the array. it only sees the first primary active partition. I have some strange message about a broken raid when it loads. but in DD, I can see the array and the various drives. even though I also have an error that says "failed to write to the sector 0 of the hard disk 1".

I think I tried everything I could to fix the array and see it in ATI but nothing works. I even tried creating a VistaPE CD but it cannot load. do you have any suggestion?

thanks

I was finally able to make it work. it was a bit complex though. I reset the Raid Array to non-raid in the bios. then I immediately recreated the array. this deleted the partitions, which I was then able to recover using Disk Director. I could then see the array in ATI and I was ultimately able to restore the C drive. the computer nows boots ok.

Nice work.

Although you didn't get any help from the forum, thanks for posting your solution so that others can use it.
