Experienced a very slow VPN connection (and frequent disconnects) using Cisco VPN Client (v5.0.00.0340) with NOD32 AV v4.0.417 on Vista Home Premium (32-bit).

All default settings used on NOD32 AV

Rolled back to NOD32 v3 and problem is gone. Because of other v4 problems (freezes after some idle time) I'm staying with v3.

    Here are the specs:

    Dell E520, Core 2 Duo 2.13GHz, 2Mb RAM
    ATI X1300 Pro 256Mb Video
Vista Home Premium SP1 (all updates)
NOD32 v4.0.417.0 AV (English) with latest virus defs.
    Cisco VPN Client v5.0.00.0340

    Hello,

You may wish to re-test with ESET NOD32 Antivirus v4.0.424.0.
