I don't mean to sound like a dumb girl, but seriously, do I just stick the disc in and follow the directions? I had a RAM problem and have replaced that and everything seems to be working now, except I had to run set-up again. Now I have my backups on my external hard drive so those are safe - they are all COMPLETE backups, so no big deal there. How do I get my old stuff back? Just pop the disc in and do what it says?
Help! (And please do not use technical language or you will completely lose me) Thanks a bunch, Julie |

If the disk you refer to is the True Image Rescue disc or the retail cd of True Image, yes. Pop it in, let the computer boot with it in. After it boots up to the True Image menu, use the Recovery feature from the menu.
What version and build number of True Image do you have? |

Perhaps the guides found on line 2 of my signature below can help.
Practice several times before trying for real.
