Question ESET Smart Security Question

Hi,

I have just a started using a free trial of ESET Smart Security 4 for Windows Vista 64bit but have one small question.

On the Security Center of Windows Vista under Malware protection it says my PC is being protected by ESET Smart Security as well as Windows Defender, is this right or should Windows Defender be turned off as it did not turn off automatically same as Windows Firewall did when I installed the ESET Smart Security.

Thankyou

Default Re: ESET Smart Security Question

It's correct, mine is Vista Business 32 bit and WD co-exist with ESS nicely. While ESS leaves WD active, Windows firewall is disabled.
