Bull Zip is what I thorougly recommend, it uses Ghost Script and is among the most full featured PDF printer out there for free. It supports watermarking, encrypting etc. and many more. In fact after making the total transition to Ubuntu, I sorely miss Bullzip, the built in cups-pdf does basic printing well but its nowhere in terms of feature like Bullzip.

I agree with the previous viewer. Forget foxit, sumatra, tried those for ages.

This is the best.
Portable version kicks @ss too. Fast to load, multiple tabs, ability to write text straight over a document, highlight text, draw diagrams, rotate documents, open 30 documents (or more) at once!

Strikeout text, highlight tool, typewriter tool to add text, and a default stamp 'approved'.

Not to mention, fastest to load multiple documents instantly.

 

I installed PDF-XCHANGE VIEWER and like it a lot. It's really fast.

 

Bone, if you insert arrows, or text with the typewriter tool, by default it will give you wide-spaced courier new font.

Highlight the text, or select the arrow/object, then you can change colour and size etc.

I haven't found any slowdown between the portable or installation version.

Some mornings I have to read through 50+ PDF reports. From windows explorer, I just drag them all in and they open instantly. That program is A+. Adobe free = D-.

 

Some other interesting features.

Right-clicking and being able to copy text as 'plain text'.



Reading a document as a two-page spread, joined/scrolling. And being able to launch Adobe reader if need be.
