Default How can I create a daily backup of just...

... the files changed that day?

I use TI for quite a while now and feel that it does a really good job for me. However, apart from doing differential backups on a weekly or monthly basis, I feel the need to backup my daily work.

What I want is the creation of five zip-files per week (Monday to Friday) which just contain the data/files changed or created on that special day, next week start a new cycle. I create files "all over the place" so it is rather troublesome to do that "by hand" for various disks.

However, I do not find a way to have TI do this for me. I have also tried several other small freeware backup solutions but none seems to do this, except for abakt, which development is unfortunately discontinued.

I want this "small" solution to just have my most recent projects at hand on a webdav server. Sync programs are not a solution either, because I do not want to sync data, but just have a weekly "screenshot" of my work.

Any help, hints, solutions for me?

Thanks

jester

Hello jester1966de,

Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

I suppose the only way to achieve the desired result is to create full drive back and then create schedule tasks (e.g. one task for every hard disk) to make incremental backups. You can set scheduling on weekly basis to choose necessary days of the week.

Best regards,
