ESS 4 scheduler / planner bug

I using ESS 4.0.314.0.
I find that if I set the scheduler / planner to run external application repreatedly every 1min.
ESS will run it every 10min

if I set it to run repreatedly every 2min, ESS will run it every 20min ...

I think ESS's Scheduler was intended just to run ESS stuff, not other external applications.

Why would you want to use ESS's Scheduler (or any other scheduler) for external apps every 1 minute anyways??
