Spam blocking analysis

Recently I was helping a friend find out why email from his family was not being delivered to his email client (outlook express).

Well, I was only partially successful as reviewing his blocked addresses only one family member was wrongly tagged as a spammer!

However, further work showed ( later) that his ISP web mail spam detector was full of 3 dozen emails all wrongly id'd as spam by his bad setting on his web mail spam filter.

Moral: Remember their are two spam filters to deal with not 1!
