Can I use Hitman Pro as a portable application on my USB-stick and am I allowed to use that USB-portable version on my laptop while having Hitman Pro installed on my regular stationary computer? Summary: Can I use my existing license on a second computer I own within my home. For a reminder; I am the customer, not my computers. So naturally I should be fine doing this, right?

I have one last question on the Comodo Time Machine/Eaz-Fix thing,
I'm not having any issues with running the default scan(Direct Disk Access). New files are picked up on and uploaded and I get no previous deleted Ghost entries. Is it OK for me to keep running the Direct Disk access or should I not do that?

1. You can use Hitman Pro on a USB stick as it is made to run from a USB stick. When your system still boots there is no need for special AV Rescue CDs. Hitman Pro will do the trick . Also no Internet Connection required if you run with Early Warning Scoring and Hitman Pro also works in Safe Mode.

2. If you have purchased a 1 PC license then you are only allowed to use the removal license on one PC. Though you can make use of the Free License for the first time on *any* PC.

3. The Hitman Pro scan is free for any PC. No need for a license to scan PCs. You only need a license for removal.

Hope this helps.

McAfee VirusScan Enterprise listed in the Windows SecurityCenter? Hitman Pro reads the AV from the SecurityCenter.

The Security Center doesn't have any info about AV.

But I didn't have this on previous versions...

I forgot to mention that my OS is WinXP Pro SP3...

I'm experiencing the same problem on a Vista x86 box. (fresh install)

Just finished installing (and updating) MSE and HMP3.
After rebooting HMP does it's scan and at the end the GUI warns me that no AV is installed.

If you try and install HMP (Downloaded from Surfright -116) on a clean PC (XP SP3), it will only launch the program and will not install. Previous versions would always install. Also, the new setup dialog is not appearing as previously mentioned by Erik. How do you get it to install?

Al

I use NIS 2011 on my home pc and HMP just auto updated to build 116. It does not display the notification about no av installed.
