You are right, Hitman Pro doesn't remove malware for free You could try Malwarebytes AM ...

I installed Hitman Pro and it found 16 tracking cookie traces but will not remove them unless I purchase the program...I then ran a full scan with Malwarebytes Pro and it found nothing

It removes malware for 30 days (time starts upon fist removal). Scanning is free.

There is a check in HitmanPro that when the screen resolution is smaller than 800x600 it resizes to 800x600.

Thanks, but my resolution is the recommended 1366x7xx.
Yet every time I install it it goes to 800x600.
Any help?

No. I know, I tried. lol. Kidding aside, I actually uninstalled HitmanPro after using up the trial, and then decided to put it back again just to scan downloaded files. Having second opinion is never bad . (I also put it back again because of their new product. lol)

A while ago, I use my parents desktop, to my surprise I can't visit Wilders, Microsoft, etc. I smell something fishy so I think I'm going to do a scan. I choose to download HitmanPro instead of MBAM (because I just need a portable scanner). HitmanPro detected an infection, I activated trial, reboot, and BAM!, I can access all the websites again. .

I am running 3.6 153 on an xp sp3. My scan time for the last 9 months or so has been 2 minutes and a few seconds. suddenly out of nowhere scans have started taking 10m 45s. No changes or new software. I did not check EWS by mistake. Anyone have a idea? my other scans like MBAM and SAS are fast as hell.

How do I deal with this check?
I'm using W7 Pro x64 and my screen resolution is 1366x768.
When I dl Hitman Pro it changes the resolution to 800x600 and
I can't access the settings or anything else. I have to shut it down
using task manager, remove HP then reset my screen res,
I use Chrome as my main browser.
Need help.

Can you scan it again?
