And what are super cookies? And does the current HMP not detect super cookies at current and can those missed super cookies infect my PC?

Remnant scanning scans for remnants like registry keys that are left behind after a malware has been removed from the computer.

The most common definition of super cookies are Flash cookies. Like tracking cookies, they can be used by advertising companies to track users. Flash cookies can contain lots more information than normal cookies and their lifespan is a lot longer, and until recently you couldn't delete them using the browser itself. However there are lots of programs like CCleaner or browser addons like Better Privacy, Ghostery and lots more that will block or delete them.

Sounds great. I look forward to 3.6

Where will it be listed for download when it's released?

Is anyone getting failure to upload items to the Cloud recently?
Usually mine time out or stop at various percentages waiting.
Just recently updated to 3.5.9 Build 130.

Yes, had it with Skype setup(about 26MB), failed around 60%

@TheMozart
Beta releases are always posted in this topic and when it is officially released you can get it from the download section of surfright.nl

Skype setup is always timing out for me. I have to delete it manually in temp-folder to make Hitman scan faster and not upload it.

For all the hitman pro users here with a free license (no license): Do you run hitman pro from time to time or do you run it scheduled?

If you let it run scheduled, will it get started via task scheduler or is hitman pro always running in the backround?

thanks

I run it on-demand (from time to time). You can set it up to scan on startup (24 hr intervals). It does NOT run in the background.

I use the task scheduler. AFAIK, nothing is running in the background once the scan is run.

Yes, for it to run in the background, you need a license.

Know that J, but you don't need a paid license for the startup scan.

Yes, but the point was background scan, not malware removal
